The Evolving Internet
Organized by
With the
extensive advances in communication technologies and network
computing, the Internet has become essential for information
exchange around the world. It is also becoming the platform
of choice for a diverse range of applications and business.
The explosion in the scale of the Internet along with
the dynamic data and the advances in processing power
and communication is beginning to test the limit of many
assumptions traditionally made when designing distributed

bringing forth a number of new and interesting challenges
forcing us to re-evaluate how to design and implement
the Internet applications. This session focuses on future
Internet applications and their enabling technologies.
